Life
I have lived with this feeling for about seven to eight years. I have never really felt like letting it out until now. What do we live for anyway? For acceptance? Do we really just want to be accepted for who we are or for who they want us to be? The only people who we care about accepting us, seem to not even care! and the ones to fake interest in me would be shocked to know what's REALLY inside my mind. I am finished with this. I think I will just stop caring about anything or anyone but myself. I will start back to school, get a degree and MOVE THE FUCK AWAY FROM HERE! I'm tired of this area and the fake friends.
That is all...

Worship
Webster’s defines this as…

- formal or ceremonious rendering of such honor and homage
- adoring reverence or regard
-verb:
1. to render reverence and homage to
Today I took a facebook quiz entitled “What is God’s Gift in you?” I wasn’t sure what my “gift” would be. I have always thought about “What can I do for God?” It piqued my curiosity, so I proceeded to take the quiz. The questions were interesting and seemed relevant to determining a vague idea of the Gift God has for us. The result was “A Worshipper”. This really got me to thinking. Worship is something more than singing the songs during church. It is more than what people see. It is truthfully giving ourselves to God. It is Adoring reverence to the Most High God. It is something we should focus on in everything we do. The topic of Worship is mentioned hundreds of times in the Bible. One passage has always stood out to me.
John 4:23-24 (NIV)
23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
People talk about worship, and are just referring to the music pertion of a church service. How can we worship God more actively? You can worship god with everything that you do, as long as you are doing it, with your heart and spirit, for Him. Singing, playing music, working, writing… Even by helping out in your community with the heart of God, and doing it for His Glory, you are Worshipping. Anything you do to uplift the name of the Holy One, is Worship.
We are always asking for things from God, and as a great father, he loves answering our requests. But how often, do we actually give back to Him? The only time during a church service we give back to God is in the Worship time. Many people overlook this time and use it to socialize with the person beside you. Or we use it to finish filling out or tithe checks. This is the time to give back to the Most High! We take take take, when we should be giving something back!
We must also Worship God in Spirit! With all of our heart, mind, and soul. Worship Him completely, not half way. We must be in the right state to worship completely. Our mind must be ready, attentive, and alert. Worship should not ever be rushed, but should be carried out with reverence to the Living God.
Worship can be folded hands, kneeling, a silent experience. But Worship should always be done Joyfully. It is a time of offering thanks, love, adoration, and Proclaiming the saving Grace of our LORD and King!
